In the past few years, the way I have been making money is doing computer programming of one form or another. Sometimes I get bored and I do some form of computer programming at home. On this page I will post the various things that I create or that I have created. Despite the sarcastic tone of this paragraph, I do truly love to program things. It is to me a wonderful puzzle, trying to solve a great theoretical abstract puzzle with nothing but my brain and my fingers, until eventually something is produced which takes on a life of its own. For those who have never programmed anything, the feeling it provides is similar to other forms of art, including writing, poetry, and making music. It is a wonderful way to pass the time.

musicsquid.info is my latest site. The idea here is to skim the Web for publicly listed live music, to determine its location as accurately as possible, and then to display that information to people in the same region as the events. The goal is that rather than looking at 12 different bands pages to see who is coming to town, people can just look here.
