Thanks for great tip. I've been thinking that I've lost my mind, because in 6.9.1 there are no ADVANCED OPTIONS button, and yet, only place tune up options is this dialog.
Thanks again. :D

I tried to get that to work but I had no luck... it might be worth posting in a netbeans forum to see if some experts have a solution. Post back here if you find one. Good luck,

This is nice, but you don't happen to know if it is possible to have syntax highlighting on files with no file extension at all? I am involved in maintaining an old system with "kind of" HTML, but all files have no extension and the naming of the files is important for the system, so I can not change the file names.

Comment on Prop 19: Its not about the college kids getting their weed. by Andy

Hey! Thanks for the read and the comment. I'm doing pretty well.

I understand that problem of not knowing who is telling the truth... its pretty hard now a days. The best way to figure out the truth is just to read the text of the law. Luckily this one is pretty short. Often times, reading the whole law would be almost impossible. You can read it here:
http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Text_of_Proposition_19,_the_%22Regulate,_Control_and_Tax_Cannabis_Act_of_2010%22_(California)

Most of their arguments are just speculation. I agree with some of their speculation, but its really just a guessing game. No one can tell you exactly what will happen if we pass this law. It would obviously involve a lot of courts and disputes and it conflicts federal law and all kind of things. I can just tell you what the law will do, and in my opinion its worth passing because of these important parts:

It changes law at the state level to let everyone in California over 21:
1. Legally possess and share up to an ounce of weed.
2. Legally grow a 25 square foot weed garden.

Then, it dictates that local governments are legally allowed to set up regulations for commercially growing and selling cannabis, provided they follow certain state regulations.

Then, it defines several punishments for furnishing pot to minors, which are much more harsh than current laws. (Minimum 3 years in prison for an 18 year old sharing a joint with a 17 years old)

and that is mostly it.

It doesn't do a good job with the regulations for commercializing it, since that part is gonna be a mess. But as long as everyone can grow it and possess it, who cares about buying it from 7-11. At the minimum it will allow people who want to use marijuana responsibly and sustainably the ability to do so.

Andy, I found your blog pretty enlightening and thorough and I'm glad that you've taken the time to write it. Although, I am very much FOR legalization and voted YES on 19, I constantly feel confused on the issue. Basically it depends on what I read that sways me back and forth. For example, I haven't really checked into the source and motivation for the following site: http://stop19.com/expert-analysis/, but information (whether skewed or not), tends to lead me to wonder, who's telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth? ;)

I'd be curious to see what may be some of your rebuttals to this argument.

Hope you're doing great,
Kasey

For anyone wondering how to install this script, I'll add a section to the demo site when I have some free time. But, if you or anyone else are wondering how to install my Alert++ jquery debugging plugin, these are the steps:

1. download the javascrpt file from my demo page, or the jquery plugins page (http://plugins.jquery.com/project/VariableDebugger)
2. FTP that file over to a suitable location on your webserver
3. edit the "head" section of your web page, adding this line: "<script type="text/javascript" src="andy.jqdebugger.js"></script>"
4. change the text in the src attirbute to point to the location you placed the script in.

That should be it. Thanks for your comment and your interest. Let me know if you have any problems or if this plugin is helping you out.

Thanks for this great piece of work. It is great to finally find a simple way to debug AJAX scripts.
Would you so kind to show newbies who badly need help debugging AJAX scripts how to install it.
Additionally, I personally think that this comment and a well crafted answer will be really valuable in SEO terms.
